Swimming-pool disinfectant (granules) 

Application: 
Chlorine-containing disinfectant for establishing the correct chemical concentration in the pool and for shock-treatment of algae-infected poolwater


Dosage: 
Dosing instructions for establishing the start-up chemical concentration in the water: 
If you add the product immediately after fill-up, first you have to build up a satisfactory level of free available chlorine in water, then you must maintain this level by slowly dissolving products. In case of 10 m3 of poolwater add 9 g of ALGA-SOKK P-t ( 9 g / 10 m3= one flat tablespoon) into the water to reach 0,5 mg/l free available chlorine concentration. Dissolve the product in a separate bucket and after that, pour the solution into the poolwater.
Important: at dissolving, first fill the bucket with water and add the granules only after that! Do not reverse the process!

Dosing instructions for shock-treatment: 
In case of algae growth, dissolve 0,5 kg of Alga-sokk in 10 liters of water for 10 m3 of poolwater and pour the solution dispersely into the poolwater (this equals with 28 mg/l free available chlorine concentration). This is the maximum allowable chlorine quantity that can be added at a time, later the process can only be repeated if the free available chlorine level goes under the 1 mg!l limit.
The swimming-pool can only be used for swimming if the chlorine level goes down to a level as low as 0,3 –1,0 mg/l in case of private pools and to 0,3- 0,5 mg/l in case of public pools.

When spotted algae-growth can be seen: 
IF you can see algae growth only at the bottom of the pool or on other horizontal surfaces (e.g. on sitting surfaces), scatter some ALGA-SOKK P granules over the surfaces and shock-treat the place locally. When the granules dissolve during falling onto the algae-covered area, chlorine concentration rises and kills the algae. After this vacuum or brush the area as soon as possible. At the end of the treatment, check the free available chlorine content of the swimming-pool water. Do not use the pool if the chlorine level is higher than 1 mg/l.
