Swimming pool water disinfectant for disinfecting public swimming pools and cooling water systems

Usage:
A supplementary disinfectant with excellent algicidal effect and biofilm dissolving ability, with the addition of which the chlorine requirement is reduced, the free active chlorine level can be maintained at 0.25-0.3mg/l in the pool water. With its use, chlorine irritation and the so-called swimming pool odor can be greatly reduced.

Dosage:
In case of continuous use:

The desired concentration can be set with a proportional chemical dosing pump. In order to promote uniform distribution in pipe systems, we recommend using static mixers or dosing the agent in front of the water circulation pump. Do not dilute the prepared solution!

When filling:

To achieve a concentration of 0.2 mg/l, add 67 ml of DINADOX^® to 1m³ of pool water.
(To achieve a chlorine dioxide concentration of 0.1 mg/l, add 3.35 litres of DINADOX^® to 100m³ of pool water.)

Continuous use:

DINADOX^® can be used to disinfect swimming pool water at a chlorine dioxide concentration of at least 0.2 mg/l and at most 1.0 mg/l. It can also be used in combination with free chlorine, the maximum combined concentration is 2*[Cl] + [ClO2 ] = 1 (mg/l). The daily dose depends on the pool's bather load. Shocking: Periodic, high-dose treatment in the absence of bathers.

Typical dosage: - added to a sand filter per m³ of filling: 10 liters of DINADOX® or - added to a pool: 300-670 ml of pool water per m³. Bathers may not stay in the pool until the level of free active chlorine and the sum of chlorine dioxide exceeds 1 mg/l. In order to exert the biocidal effect, a concentration of 0.2 mg/l chlorine dioxide is required for continuous dosing and a 2-hour exposure time is required when refilling.

Recommended product for reducing THM and chloramine:

Using Dinadox® A+B and Dinax® Carbon Flock
Using Dinadox® A+B, the amount of chlorine added is reduced, therefore less chlorine reacts with ammonia and organic substances, thus producing less THM and chloramine. These compounds can be filtered out using Dinax® Carbon Flock F.

Dinadox® A+B is a solution containing 3g/l chlorine dioxide, which is recommended for the continuous disinfection of swimming pool water, rapid pressure filters and pipelines in swimming pools. It is recommended to supplement the chlorine dosage - with reduced chlorine consumption. The recommended dosage point for Dinadox® A+B is the place where the pre-disinfectant is placed.

In addition to Dinadox® A+B, it is also advisable to replace the flocculant used so far with Dinax® Carbon Flock. When added to the pipe system, the agent binds dissolved organic impurities and bound chlorine in the bathing water thanks to its active carbon content.

Storage: in a dry, cool place, protected from light, in the original can. Attention! The mixed material must be stored below 35 °C!

To use it with other agents is recommended only after knowing the exact composition and consulting with a DINAX Kft. consultant, otherwise the effect of the agents is unpredictable.
