for the prevention of metal and metal oxide precipitation and discolouration, and water stone deposits

The iron, manganese and copper content of the water can cause brown, yellow or green discolouration of the pool water if chlorine disinfection is used. In addition to keeping these substances in solution, DINAX® METAL MAGIC F EXTRA also prevents the deposition of scale in the piping systems, filter and pool surface.

Application:

- When added to the pool water at the time of refilling, it prevents the formation of discoloration caused by metals in the water (e.g. iron, copper, manganese), which  typically occur in pools filled from wells.
- It stabilises the hardness, thus preventing the formation of scale in the pool water and on the pool wall.
- It can partially remove deposits that have already formed over a long period of time. When cleaning a drained swimming pool, use DINAX^® COVER CLEANER, DE-VÍZKŐ G or DE-VÍZKŐ GP to remove metallic deposits!

DOSAGE:

It is advisable to add the required amount of DINAX^® METAL MAGIC F EXTRA at the start of filling, so that the agent immediately binds the ions that cause precipitation, deposition or discoloration, which in this way cannot react with other agents (e.g. chlorine). - After starting to fill the pool, distribute the product evenly over the surface of the already filled water.

Quantity to be administered:
- 30-60 ml of DINAX^® METAL MAGIC F Extra for 1 m³ of pool water (depending on water hardness and iron and manganese content):
If the total iron and manganese content of the filling water is:
- below 0.5 mg/l and its hardness does not reach 20°nk: 30 ml/m³
- between 0.5-1 mg/l, and its hardness does not reach 20° nk: 40 ml/m³
- between 0.5-1 mg/l and/or its hardness exceeds 20° nk: 50 ml/m³
- Above 1 mg/l, 60 ml/m³ DINAX^® METAL MAGIC F Extra should be dosed.

- In case of extremely high (1 mg/l) iron and manganese content, even the amount to be dosed of 60 ml/m³ does not guarantee the binding of the entire iron-manganese content, the chlorinated water may turn slightly yellowish. In this case, the complete purification of the water can be solved by persistent flaking (e.g. with DINAX^® FLOCK F or DINAX^® FLOCK P) and filtration.

Tip: In the case of water treated with the DEWAN^® product, discoloration does not appear.

- Moderately loosens blockages in an already filled pool. With the filter working, add the appropriate amount of DINAX^® METAL MAGIC F Extra liquid to the pool water, distributing it evenly over the surface of the water. Leave the filter on for 48 hours and then wash it back. The pool can be used immediately after using the product!

In the case of pool water that has turned brown from iron water, first use DEWAN^®-7, -18, or -35!- When refilling the pool, make sure to replace DINAX^® METAL MAGIC F Extra, depending on the amount of fresh water.
