Chlorine-free bath water treatment granules

Active oxygen-containing granules for treating water in private pools and hot tubs smaller than 3 m³. Can be used as a substitute for liquid, chlorine-free DEWAN^® disinfectants, either on its own or to supplement their effect.

Pre-dosage steps:

Before using DEWAN^®-20, be sure to disinfect the entire water cycle of the pool! (shock treatment with ALGA SOKK P)

Mix 50 grams/m³ (approx. 10 tablespoons) of ALGA-SOKK^® P granules, previously dissolved in 1 liter of water, into the water. Circulate the water to mix the product. Leave the disinfected water to act for at least two hours. If no dead biofilm comes out of the nozzles when you start circulating the water, drain the water. Rinse and refill the tub or pool.

Initial dosage:

To quickly achieve the initial concentration of DEWAN^®-20 (active oxygen) (8 mg/l), add 0.5 kg of DEWAN^®-20 P granules per 10 m³ to the pool while filling it, after dissolving it in water. In addition, add 150 ml of ALGI-CID algae inhibitor per 10 m³ to the water.

Continuous dosage:

To ensure the desired cleaning effect, the concentration of DEWAN^®-20 must be kept at around 8 mg/l at all times!

Ideally, 50 g/m³ (previously dissolved in water) of Dewan-20 P granules and 10 ml of ALGI-CID should be added to the pool on a weekly basis. In practice, it may be preferable to dose based on the actual Dewan-20 (active oxygen) level. To achieve the desired cleaning effect, the DE­WAN^®-20 (active oxygen) level must be kept at around 8 mg/l at all times. If the measured value falls below 4.0 mg/l, another 50 g/m³ of DE­WAN^®-20 P granules, dissolved in water beforehand, must be added to the pool.

During pool operation, the pH value of the water must be kept between 7.2 and 7.4 at all times. We recommend using DINAX MINUS P for this purpose.

MEASUREMENT:

During the first two weeks of operation, it is advisable to check the DEWAN^®-20 concentration every two days:

- with a DEWAN^®-20/pH tester or

- with a DEWAN^®-20 test strip.

Two checks per week are also recommended thereafter.
